Description:
Pressure gauge is a kind of meter. It adopts the elastic element as the sensor. It is used to gauge the pressure that is higher than the ambient one.Pressure gauge is universal. It virtually pervades every industrial process and scientific research field. Type selecting:
Before you choose a pressure gauge, think about what It adopts for the elastic element as the sensor. Determination of the measuring range:
The elastic elements work reliably in the safety range of elastic deformation. There should be enough room left when choosing the scale of pressure gauge manometer,  according to the number of the measured pressure and the changing speed of it, thus the maximum of the manometer's range is supposed to overtop the the maximum in the process.

Accuracy level selection:
Generally speaking, more accurate the selected meter is, more precise and reliable the measurement is. However, meters of higher accuracy need more expensive price and more effort to operation and maintenance. So, it is better to choose a durable meter that has lower accuracy and price.

Attentions to general pressure gauge purchasing:
1. The name. For example, common pressure gauge, oxygen gauge, ammonia gauge, electrical contact gauge.
2. The models. Different manufactures have different models. Please write the models clearly in the contract.
3. The size of outside diameter. for example,Φ40,Φ60,Φ100,Φ150,Φ200,Φ250
4. The way of installation. Radial, axial, belt before, belt behind
5. Measuring range: vacuum table (the upper limit), pressure vacuum (measuring range)
6. The accuracy of classification. For example, 1.0;1.6;2.5;4.0
7. Connection. For example,M10X1, M14X1.5,M20X1.5

More attentions to special pressure gauge purchasing:
1. Capsule gauge:
a. make it clear that which kind of filled liquid in spring pipe should be, according to the application, for example, silicone oil, glycerol, edible oil, fluorinated oil ,
b. make the material clear according to the measured medium, according to the corrosion level of measured medium, for example, SUS316, tantalum, titanium, monel alloy, hastelloy alloy.
c. if the connection is flange connection, make clear its size, material and performance standard.
2. As to vibration-proof pressure gauge, make clear which kind of filled liquid  that is used to reduce vibration.
3. As to corrosion-proof pressure gauge, make clear the material of connection, spring tube, case according to the corrosivity of the measured medium and surroundings.
